Crestfallen

Well, it looks like I have my blog back up and running.  Sometime last year the person that I bought my webhosting from died and there was no one left behind to maintain his business.  Eventually, a new company bought it out, but only had a day or so to grab all the files.  It looks like they grabbed all my files...except the database that contained my old blog...so I think it is gone...for good.

I may have found some old archive files, but to use them I will need to copy and paste and rebuild the entire blog.  Which can be done...but will take a while.  (maybe I'll just cherry pick)

But, worst of all was the blog that I never published.  I had a private blog about the birth of my daughters that was never published.  So, there are no archive files.  So, without the database...well...those posts are gone.

But, at least I'm back up and running.  And I've got a bunch to say.

But first....I need a nap....
